Project Access 2013 Participants at United Nations Headquarters

Greetings friends:

Since 1992 Tribal Link Foundation has served Indigenous Peoples from around the world with the philosophy that Indigenous Peoples must speak for themselves; they must not be spoken for. We remain firm in our position that a communities’ work on the ground is best supported by facilitating the linkages that indigenous communities themselves see as necessary. Your continued support via donations makes this possible.

This past year was an exciting one as we continued, with your help, to proudly support Indigenous Peoples’ educational pursuits, their effective participation in international meetings that affect their rights, and facilitate linkages to international markets to further local entrepreneurial endeavors.

Some of our work highlights are featured in our December newsletter and include   success stories such as our Indigenous Fellowship Program with  Tuwe Huni Kuin from Brazil, our groundbreaking work with the Natural Resources Stewardship Circle, our cornerstone training program Project Access, and our Girls Education Program in Kenya and Tanzania. I trust these programs convey the significance of Indigenous Peoples’ cultures and concerns, and Tribal Link’s commitment to provide access to the resources they need to reach their fullest potential. Tribal Link is one of the few organizations of its kind, unique in the comprehensive services we provide to ensure indigenous communities’ success in their work on their own terms.

You can make a difference in the lives of Indigenous Peoples by supporting our work in 2014. Please consider donating online (triballink.org/donate) or by check (to Tribal Link 109 West 28th Street New York, NY 10001). All contributions are tax deductible and are directly applied to program costs.

From the Tribal Link family to yours, we wish you all a very happy holiday season and a prosperous new year. Thank you again for your generous support.

Sincerely,

Pamela Kraft,

Executive Director
